AI being the "end of humanity" by 2030 is complete bullshit and anyone telling you it isn't is either a shill or has drunk the kool-aid. AI can and will be used to surveil people but this hype around it making all humanity extinct is a double-pronged attack; one to give the govt. to stop consumer access to frontier models, and the second to build more hype and speculation around them, making the bubble bigger and prolonging its existence. They know they are not making money and investors want ROI.
